Dining In

Tonight was a leftovers night: the last of a batch of spaghetti sauce I made back in May and stuck in the freezer for just this purpose, along with the tail end of a ball of fresh mozzarella we bought to make caprese paninis earlier in the week.

Some balcony garden basil for garnish and the last of a bottle of merlot.
Perfect low-energy midweek meal!

And to finish it off...rice pudding that MG made with some leftover basmati from a curry meal last weekend.

The gym was packed when I got home from work, so we're off to take a walk for some exercise now that it's cooled off (I use "cooled" loosely).  Look for a recipe post later this evening!
